Boogie Knights

Last night we shot the Boogie Knights event at Poleng Lounge. 7×7 Magazine and Smirnoff hosted the party and several of the Orange crew were there. Here’s Jamie and Andria enjoying a few of those Smirnoff beverages.

test shots

We had a big corporate job on alacratz island yesterday and had some fun with our test shots.

Smile!

So I took this shot at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero today for a shoot and loved how it looks like a face. It’s the interior of the Grand Ballroom.

The M Factor

What’s the M Factor? It was an event held yesterday and last night for the Menlo School. The event was really impressive with an amazingly choreographed fashion show mixed in with a live auction, cocktails, dancing and a luncheon and dinner as well. Many of the movers and shakers from the Valley were present including Robin Williams.

Postcard from Paris

We (me and Kevin) were in Las Vegas the past couple of days for WPPI, being held at Paris Hotel. One of the products I think attendees were most excited about was Adobe Lightroom, released a few months ago. I was able to attend a few seminars which introduced me to a lot of neat features. Wedding season begins…

The wedding season is also full year here in the bay area and certainly the smart couples do it during off peak season. Personally, I rather photograph them in the off season because the sun is awful in Napa during the summer months ; )

Synchronicity

I can’t say that I expected to be photographing synchronized swimmers when I flew to Southern Florida but that was part of the entertainment tonight. It was pretty interesting to shoot. I kinda wished I had an underwater rig to play with though especially since it was so hot and humid out here (well, compared to San Francisco at least!). Not the worst way to spend a Sunday night…

An Orange Day…

After a crazy start to the year we were finally able to take the whole studio out for a much-deserved day off. The weather was magnificent and we went out to Golden Gate Park first for a visit to the De Young, where we are also corporate supporters of the museum. The Vivienne Westwood exhibit was a standout and it’s definitely something worth checking out.

Author Kiara Brinkman

Kiara Brinkman who's new novel Up High in the Trees is coming out soon was in our studios for a photo shoot for her book cover photo and promotional shots. We've had quite a few [...]
