Today was spent checking out art at various galleries, including a trip to 49 Geary specifically to check out the Edward Burtynsky Quarries prints at Robert Koch gallery. If I was wealthier I would have picked one up as a gift and got some of my holiday shopping done but instead I didn’t buy anything today.
The new Crouching Spider by Louise Bourgeois on the Embarcadero was another stop and it’s a nice piece, although I wish it was given a bit more space but I’ll take public art whenever we can get it (well, almost any).
