Last night Orange was on hand at 7×7 Magazine‘s Bring on the Night photography award and benefit party (SF Camerawork was the beneficiary). We also talked to KGO News 7 about photography – the segment will air Nov. 15th as part of The View From the Bay.

Bob Sarlatte and the Ebbies

Last night we shot the Ebbies, the Excellence in Business Awards. It was at the Westin St. Francis and a few of the Orange crew who were on hand got to sit at a table with Bob Sarlatte. He was off the clock, but nevertheless was mobbed by fans throughout the evening. Working in the hospitality and events industry we come across a lot of interesting stuff. Ice bars seem to be the trend in corporate parties, green screen and on-site printing are also popular, and for holiday parties and weddings, I’ve seen the customized MMs here and there. If you are planning something and haven’t got ideas for snacks to have around they are a pretty cheap and fun way to go.
