Katrina has affected many people and coming from the South and having been to New Orleans several times, I was very interested in what’s been going on down there. I saw some footage of the Garden District where I stayed last in January of 2005 and this one business was shown mostly submerged.
From a photographer’s perspective, the NPPA (National Press Photographers Association) has an interesting article discussing what photojournalists are facing down there and as a fellow small business owner, I totally empathize with what it must be like down there.
