Shoe and fashion designer Steve Madden was at Nordstrom today. One of the interesting things he talked about with his fans/shoppers was when two younger kids asked him why he loved shoes, and what was the most amazing thing that happened to him.
The answer to the first question was related to watching trends in fashion through shoes. What was hot and why and how that affected fashion. He thought a bit about the other question and finally answered that it was his time in prison. Obviously amazing in a bad way but I thought that was an interesting answer.
