I have always liked the Canon logo as far as a brand goes and even remember drawing it on gutters in my notebooks. Since we’ve largely standardized on Canon gear, I was looking up some info on the parent company and found some interesting info out on the origins of their brand.
Who knew that it started out as Kwanon, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy?
