We were very excited to be a part of the APEC Women and the Economy Summit, a 4-day conference that kicked off in San Francisco Sept. 13-16 at the Westin St. Francis hotel. The event brought together the world’s leading women diplomats and visionaries in business and government from the U.S. and 20 other Pacific Rim countries.
The keynote, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, declared a new age of women’s participation in the economy, and a commitment to narrowing the gender gap in public and private sectors, that could help spur growth in global economies.
