Well it’s been insane of late as things have taken Orange all over the World. Spain last week and now Las Vegas again – this time for the Olympia Weekend. Had a chance to get some air on the smoking deck at the Orleans Arena and there was this great view of the strip with the moon just sitting above it. I didn’t have the right gear to get a better shot, but snapped this one off [...]
Artist LeRoy Neiman made an appearance at the Franklin Bowles Gallery on Saturday where they are holding an exhibit of his Femlin works. You may know this “mischieveous female sprite” character from the Party Jokes page of Playboy magazine. Anyhow, he was a real gentleman and quite the ladies man even as an octogenarian. In this photo, he models his line of Adidas sneakers (you can get your own here). Take note the purple socks! This man [...]

Olafur Eliasson’s exhibition opening was tonight at SFMOMA and the museum was packed with folks checking out his latest work. Halou and Zoe Keating were on hand playing downstairs and there was a nice mix of people on hand. The exhibition runs from this Saturday through Sunday, February 24, 2008 and I would highly recommend checking it out when you have allotted time to interact with everything at a nice leisurely pace.
The Sunday Style section of the San Francisco Chronicle today has an article entitled: “San Francisco Fashion Week: The leggy look rules” which showcases Orange Photography shooters Andria Lo and Gene X Hwang. Check out the story and pix online on the www.SFGate.com website!

So we got a proclamation from the Mayor’s Office today and it really is Orange Photography Day! This was a shot we took of ourselves in the self-manned photo booth we set up for tonight’s party!
So they threw a party for us at the Embarcadero today and all kinds of luminaries showed up – below is home run king Barry Bonds talking to Charlotte Shultz while our illustrious Mayor Gavin Newsom looks on in his special Orange tie!
That’s right, Orange is turning six years old! The image on the right is the studio before it became remodelled Orange territory.
