Today we shot the Topping-Out of The Contemporary Jewish Museum here in San Francisco. We’re lucky to have such a nice City Hall building here in San Francisco. We’ve photographed many weddings, corporate events and galas here and tonight we shot the Pfizer Animal Health event where the place looked its usual magnificent self.

When I was in school, I remember Dorothea Lange’s images captivating me and bringing me into the experience of the people she photographed. So yesterday I perused First Thursdays, the monthly open gallery night here in San Francisco. I started off at SF Camerawork to check out their First Exposure book release and opening. So an astute reader pointed out that I was in a photo in Swells, Catherine Bigelow’s society column, so while eating a salad at Pluto’s today I saw it in person – kinda funny – although you can’t see my silvery pants.
