At Orange Photography, we’ve always believed that visual storytelling has the power to strengthen communities, amplify mission-driven work, and support organizations that are creating meaningful impact in the world. This year, we’re honored to once again support a mission close to our hearts — by sponsoring the official video coverage for Taste & Tribute 2025, the benefit gala for the Tibetan Aid Project.
📖 What is Taste & Tribute?
Taste & Tribute is the signature annual benefit dinner for the Tibetan Aid Project. The 22nd Annual Taste & Tribute Benefit Dinner will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Nyingma Institute in the Berkeley Hills — an intimate evening limited to just 60 distinguished guests.
Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully crafted five-course vegetarian meal prepared by celebrated Buddhist culinary master Jeong Kwan; an elegant reception with hors d’oeuvres and premium wine; plus the excitement of live and silent auctions featuring luxury travel, fine art, and cultural experiences — all supporting TAP’s mission.
This event is not just a dinner — it’s a gathering where mindfulness, culture, and compassion meet, helping to raise vital funds for the preservation of Tibetan heritage.
🌱 Who is the Tibetan Aid Project?
Since its founding in 1969 by the Tibetan lama Tarthang Tulku, the Tibetan Aid Project has dedicated itself to preserving Tibetan culture — especially through the distribution of sacred texts, art, and prayer wheels to Tibetan exile communities across the Himalayan region. (tibetanaidproject.org)
Over decades, TAP has distributed nearly six million traditional texts, supporting education, literacy, and cultural continuity for monks, nuns, and laypeople alike.
Taste & Tribute serves as their primary annual fundraiser — helping ensure that this vital work continues.
🤝 Why We’re Proud to Support This Event
Our roots with this community run deep. In fact, Jack’s relationship with TAP and related Buddhist-centered initiatives stretches back more than 10 years — a decade marked by collaboration, shared values, and a mutual dedication to service.
Supporting Taste & Tribute through the lens of Orange Photography isn’t just about capturing images or video — it’s about uplifting voices, archiving teachings, and ensuring that the lineage, culture, and community stories of today are preserved for tomorrow. This aligns perfectly with the mission of our Beyond the Cushion project, which seeks to document and celebrate lived experiences of Buddhist practitioners, lineage holders, and communities across the country.
By sponsoring the video coverage for Taste & Tribute 2025, we hope to contribute meaningfully to TAP’s efforts — helping raise awareness, deepen connection, and support the preservation of Tibetan wisdom and heritage at a pivotal time.

From all of us at Orange Photography — thank you for allowing us to carry forward this work together.
