This shot was all done in camera. I was flying into Orlando International last night and saw the sun peeking through the clouds. I was thinking of how when you get that kind of light, it’s often when you can see a rainbow (if it were actually raining). Since the sunlight was going into the water below, I thought about quickly putting on my polarizing filter and catching a shot to see if I could record that prismatic effect.
Luckily it turned out since this was about the only chance I had at the photo. When we landed there was a shot I totally missed of a plane taking off in front of the streaming sunlight coming in through the clouds that created that effect.
That’s what this shot is just showing the streaming sunlight…
