AWS Summit
Case Study: Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Multi-City U.S. Summit Tour
In partnership with Opus Agency
Over the course of several years, Amazon Web Services (AWS), through its managing agency Opus, partnered with Orange Photography to document a large-scale, multi-city summit tour spanning major markets across the United States. The program required a consistent visual standard, reliable execution in diverse venues, and the ability to scale seamlessly from city to city.
Orange was engaged to provide comprehensive event photography coverage for each stop on the tour, capturing keynote presentations, technical breakout sessions, sponsor activations, and attendee engagement moments. Working in close coordination with Opus and local venue teams, our photographers operated within tightly structured show schedules while adapting to varying floor plans, lighting conditions, and regional logistics.
A key priority for AWS was visual consistency across markets—ensuring that imagery from each city aligned with global brand guidelines and could be used interchangeably across marketing, internal communications, and post-event reporting. Orange’s nationwide network and centralized project management allowed AWS and Opus to rely on a single partner while maintaining continuity across dozens of individual event days.
Assets were delivered efficiently after each city, enabling near-real-time use by marketing and communications teams as the tour progressed.
Outcome:
AWS and Opus benefited from a scalable, low-risk photography partner capable of supporting a complex, multi-year national program. By functioning as an extension of the agency team, Orange helped simplify vendor management, reduce variability across markets, and deliver a cohesive visual story that reinforced AWS’s leadership across the entire tour.
