We’ve been aware of IMEX for years and have done work for them and at the show but for the first time we just went as an attendee this year to check things out. We ran into many event professionals we’ve worked with and saw many friends from SF Travel, Teneo, PRA and other venues, DMCs and planners.
There was a lot of education going on as well as the hosted buyer program (which we couldn’t check out of course), and almost everywhere on earth was covered from South Africa, to Iceland to Korea to Ireland and of course North and South America.
Here’s a few snaps from around the show and as a bonus, Zoox (shown at left) had just launched in Las Vegas so we took a couple rides in their autonomous vehicles which have been running all around San Francisco as well.
