One of the things that’s obvious with digital when it first came out was the lack of vignetting (unless you were using a really crappy lens or toy camera). With the advent of the full frame sensors I saw a return of the vignette and with Lightroom being a popular tool and one we use quite a bit here at Orange, I’ve noticed how romantic an image can become with the vignetting. Taco Bell asks you to be a professional swimsuit photographer!

Having shot tons of models on beaches and such it was fun to see that Taco Bell has a new promo out called Direct Daniella which lets you play the role of SI swimsuit issue photographer. We shot a conference for Exxon Mobil this week and one of the things that’s always nice is to see the photography leveraged in presentations to the audience. This is a shot of some of the images we shot the day and night before as part of a wrap up presentation. People always enjoy seeing themselves and we’ve done a lot of events where things like this are produced and it’s always a hit.

We had two stations set up to take portraits of couples for a private party and in a separate room we had our printers set up. People as usual started to relax and have more fun with the booths as the evening went on and we actually [...]

Last night was the opening night at ACT and there was a performance of Nikolai Gogol’s The Government Inspector. Appropriately, they had vodka shots for the audience members at intermission which were a big hit. The vodka was even one of the few that are actually sold in the U.S. and made in Russia – Russian Standard Imperia – which seemed to be very popular with everyone.
