Thursday, 11.17.05, was old man Jack’s birthday. To celebrate, we busted out a chocolate cake that was so rich and decadent you can only have one slice. Happy Birthday Jack!!!

Since we all have to begin somewhere, it was interesting working with less experience models. given my tendency towards a photojournalist approach, it was quite different to constantly direct or confirm the model’s expression. regardless, there is still that decisive moment that i see when i am working in this formal context.

I am finally beginning to take advantage of our studio space with some test work with a new fashion designer, alaya. Her website isn’t up yet but it should be an interesting fusion of indian and modern references. We’re going to be putting up our fashion work over the next couple of quarters so expect more studio work from me

_halou before my passion for photography, i had a passion for music. but since i was more untalented as a musican, the closet i can become an ‘artist’ is being a photographer. but there is also the saying that, if you love something, don’t make it a living.
We Have a Real Gallery!!
After months of discussing, planning, and feverishly working the past couple of weeks, we finally have the long-awaited gallery space we’ve always wanted. We had a few patrons over for the Open Studios weekend and everyone was impressed with the space. Not bad, don’t you think?

It’s not everyday that we get to photograph two ultra sexy and unbashfully smart ladies in our studio. They are the brillant team that recently launched a podcast show entitled “sex with emily” – saving the world one orgasm at a time. We wish them much luck as they educate the masses on the trickyness that is sex.

_download wallpaper normally, i rarely leave the city and even more rare do i take photos of the great beautiful earth. but this past weekend, i did get out to one of the best trails in northern california and had a wonderful time tripping on all the glory that is california. The trail ended on a beach with one of the only waterfalls in california at ends at the beach.

Sometimes we enjoy ourselves a bit too much doing what we love doing but most of the time, we’re busy being just seriously brilliant. The line between work and fun has been blurred more than once in our corporate history.
