I’m in NY for the week and have been able to snap photos of some incredible breakdancers. For the last couple of years, my sister has been working on the documentary Planet B-boy which just premiered at Tribeca Film Festival. Breakdancing crews and world champs flew in from all over to help promote and showcase their moves. Amazing stuff. The movie is excellent and will hopefully be coming to a theater near you soon.

The wedding season is also full year here in the bay area and certainly the smart couples do it during off peak season. Personally, I rather photograph them in the off season because the sun is awful in Napa during the summer months ; )

It’s not every wedding that you stumble a upon a room that transports back 30 years. When i saw this room, with it’s green tones, i felt like i could produce an image worthy of a full magazine spread.

Walking away

I finally got the chance to shoot in city hall (without being a civil ceremony) and undoubtedly, one of the most glorious venues to capture the art of photojournlistic wedding photography…
