Whenever I get free weekend mornings, I like taking my camera into Chinatown. With 40,000 members of the local community, some kids grow up never having to leave the 20 block area. There’s really no reason to venture out when there are more toys in Chinatown than all of San Francisco combined.

This morning despite an early morning shoot time, I had the chance to play with a snapping turtle and alligator. This is “Al” the alligator at the California Academy of Sciences.
