Last night we shot an event at 111 Minna Gallery for Conde Nast’s Portfolio magazine and the Commonwealth Club’s INFORUM. You may have read about it on our twitter stream (http://twitter.com/orangephoto) but it was pretty interesting as most INFORUM events often are. David Ewing Duncan moderated and Futurist Paul Saffo was amongst the panel. Doing events can be fun and a good challenge when there are panel discussions or people speaking in fixed positions. However, because of that rigid format, it is a great opportunity to look for alternate angles as well as different perpectives. Often you can tell as much about an event from the surrounding details as you can from direct shots of the primary subjects – try it out next time!~
Also, there’s a great interview with Bo Burlingham and Jim Collins – two authors who have great insights into business – on the Inc.com website. They discuss how entrepreneurship is so important in these uneasy times and the article is entitled How to Thrive in 2009 – a good read!
