Tuesday night we covered the WWF’s Year of the Tiger event at the Asian Art Museum. One of the most interesting things about shooting events like this is picking up knowledge about whatever it is you are photographing. I didn’t realize that in the wild, there are only about 3200 tigers left in the world. And for those of you who like to use imagery in your marketing efforts, we learned that the WWF’s most effective outreach is when tigers adorn their marketing pieces. (Tigers even beat out their iconic panda bears!) If you’re interested in learning about how you can help tigers, there are things you can do online in as little as 60 seconds!
