Listen to Platon’s cplaton orange photography portraitsommentary! This guy does amazing work and I loved his shots of Craig Newmark and Jim Buckmaster that were in Wired last month. These portraits and how they are made are a great insight into not just photography, but the creative process.

My personal favorite is this shot of Madagascar’s leader at right (who’s younger than me!)

And note how Platon’s OK with people looking a bit uncomfortable as he’s working to capture their true essence.
