“Virginia Suicide” does Courtney Love
All I knew about this assignment is that there would be a gaggle of drag queens, a fashion contest in the vain of Project Runway, and it would take place at Mama Calizo’s Voice Factory down the street from our studio.
I didn’t quite know what to expect, but I knew it would be good!

I love shooting drag queens and performers because they love being photographed. It’s a beautiful and symbiotic relationship.
