Great work & thank you to everyone who came out to Bayview Opera House for Help Portrait 2011 on December 10th! We joined SF Camerawork’s First Exposures students, along with Pro Camera, Gassers, RayKo and over 100 volunteers to help support the annual worldwide event, which aims to “give, not take portraits,” offering our local communities an opportunity to look their best for a professional portrait. For many, it was their first family portrait together. First Exposures students announced that they photographed nearly 550 individuals in 5 hours, and volunteers handed out approximately 250 framed prints and CDs to attendees receiving portraits.
Here’s a candid of Myleen taken by First Exposures mentee, Emi Nakamura.
