The last of this year’s Campari Talks at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts took place on Saturday. JD Samson of Le Tigre (left) and artist/writer Emily Roysden were among the panelists discussing contemporary feminist art. Seated behind a well-placed wall of Campari bottles, the artists, I’m sure well aware of the irony, repeatedly mentioned the often anti-capitalist perspective of the art –though I think it’s great when a company can use their profits to bring together such interesting minds for an intimate discussion (and complimentary cocktails!).
