Last night Creativity Explored had their 25th Anniversary Benefit at Foreign Cinema. The event had a silver theme to it (25 years, the silver anniversary) and most of the artists, mentors, board members and supporters were on hand on a beautiful and balmy evening. Girls Day at the Boys and Girls Club

It was just us girls at the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco event Saturday. They’ve created a fantastic clubhouse complete with pool tables, computer lab, photo studio, darkroom, and silk screening. The girls were really showered with attention by all the volunteers. Was great to see and document.

Compassionate Chefs Cafe

Myleen and I donated part of our lazy Sunday to shoot this year’s Compassionate Chefs Cafe at the very delicious New Delhi Restaurant on Ellis Street. This was a lively Bollywood-themed event that benefitted both the Tenderloin After School Program in San Francisco and the Gandhi Ashram of New Delhi. We hear they raised over $16K! Girlstock

Orange was on hand to capture the 5th Annual Girlstock in downtown Oakland as part of our social photography program. An excellent opportunity to see some local talent at intimate venues, plus the proceeds benefit two great organizations, The Positive Resource Center and Pets Are Wonderful Support. My favorite were the completely mesmerizing, sword-balancing Suhaila Salimpour belly dancers.
