ORANGE PHOTOGRAPHY DAY PROCLAIMED IN CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO

SAN FRANCISCO – August 24, 2007 – Gavin Newsom, Mayor of the City and County of San Francisco proclaimed Friday August 24, 2007 “Orange Photography Day.” To celebrate the sixth anniversary of the locally owned and operated studio, the proclamation stated:

WHEREAS, today commemorates the 6th Anniversary of the founding of Orange Photography;
and

WHEREAS, Orange Photography was established by three photographers from San Francisco with a vision to provide clients with a new level of creative photography focused on the impact of imagery; and

WHEREAS, in March of 2006 Orange Photography won a coveted Silver Award for its innovative website design in the prestigous Davey Award competition, which honors the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies, and companies worldwide; and

WHEREAS, on this day we recognize the contributions of a socially conscious company that continues to donate its services to charity and non-profit organizations through their Social Photography Programs; now
