Poladroid is a ridiculously easy-to-use piece of software that you can download for free. You drag in any image and it spits out a Polaroid-like version in seconds. It weirdly satisfying to use because you see the image “develop” in real-time and it even sets of a satisfying click-a-churn Polaroid camera sound. It’ll add on a random thumbprint, fading, and vignetting to create a similar look. The samples above came out too sharp to fool me completely. I suppose not the same as the magical Real Thing, but not a bad alternative to spruce up your Facebook profile. Especially now that 600 film is going for nearly $25/pack.
