rest stop 4 action!

It’s been a little over 5 days since i completed my first AIDS/Lifecycle journey to LA! My body is still recovering from the most exhaustive experience I’ve very completed but mentally, I am already thinking about doing it again next year!

As evident by my facebook updates, the mental ability to deal with something this grueling pretty much outweigh the ‘physical’ challenges. I was ‘lucky’ enough to only walk away with serious neck pain but i know plenty of people that experience knee, neck, and butt sores that disabled them from riding! Undoubtedly, i was most impressed by the variety of body/personality types that took on this challenge. There were no wimps on this ride!

As ambitious as i wanted to be in documenting the experience, the reality of mental and physical exhaustion got the best of me. I probably got the most images on the first day and after that, the compound pain and exhaustion made it increasingly difficult to think about the camera. Luckily, i did have a camera mounted directly on my bike but the results from that camera was inconsistent due to the speed/shaking of the camera.

anyway, i will be updating the gallery piece meal as i continue to edit and produce the 900 something images! check out the first day set of images here!
