Renown portrait photographer Amy Arbus was in our studio over the weekend conducting ‘Portraits Without Walls’, a Fotovision.org 2-day workshop. The course was designed to encourage students to photograph people in an entirely new way; to develop a sense of movement and urgency in their photographs. On Sunday, the students photographed the Cherry Blossom Festival Grand Parade at Civic Center and then discussed their experience. Towards the end of the workshop, students were able to get feedback from Amy while having her review their portfolios. We’re looking forward to hosting another workshop for Fotovision again soon!
