We’ve been trying to capture more shots of each other at work, especially doing stuff like photo stations, since clients are often curious about the setup. I love how the first image conveys Orangey fun vibes and shows how you can use an on-location site as a backdrop. Myleen and I kept running into each other while taking candids at a recent shoot, which called for impromptu shoot offs.

Pixar’s newest animated feature, Up, will hit theaters May 29, 2009. They threw a grand bash for their people at two of downtown Oakland’s classiest theaters, the Paramount and the newly renovated Fox Theater, which has an interesting Moorish temple style architecture. After being shut down for 40 some-odd years it’s wonderful to see this space open again, maintaining its original detailing and decor.
