Orange Photography wedding photography featured in Here Comes the Guide
So just got word from one of our wedding clients that the photos from their wedding are featured in a listing in Here Comes the Guide for Casa Real where we’ve photographed quite a few weddings and special events. We’re also honored to be in Here Comes the Guide as well since it’s a ‘by recommendation only’ type publication. You can check out our own listing here!
Orange Photography + Mosio’s Birthday Party
It’s official, we turned seven years old! The awesome folks at Mosio, who just had their first anniversary, celebrated with us. So we got a lil snap happy with over a thousand photos from the evening, but how else would a photography studio commemorate such a year?

So we’re proud that our very own Andria Lo will be participating in an exhibition at SOMArts later this month!
The exhibit is called filtered – beyond the first layer and the opening is on Friday August 29th from 6-9pm. As the exhibit says: “Andria Lo is a professional photographer whose personal work presents a curious look at the everyday/night by often capturing scene that cannot actually be perceived by looking.”

ISES photography award – another win!
We’re proud that another image of ours was selected by an industry group and is now featured on the ISES home page. An image from a shoot in San Diego (I think) was selected and is now on rotation.
Next month we’ll be in St. Petersburg, FL to see if we win the Best Event Photography award as well!

Amy Arbus at Orange Photography for Fotovision
Renown portrait photographer Amy Arbus was in our studio over the weekend conducting ‘Portraits Without Walls’, a Fotovision.org 2-day workshop. The course was designed to encourage students to photograph people in an entirely new way; to develop a sense of movement and urgency in their photographs. Mitsubishi features Orange Photography (on-site printing and green screen)
We’ve been using Mitsubishi printers ever since we started doing some on-site printing at events and we’ve always been pleased with the results. Their printers are well built and really stand up to constant use.
