There is a local non profit photography organization that is doing some great things. They used to have a gallery space down on 7th and folsom and have exhibits from winners of their annual ‘social change through photography’ contest. This path of photography has always been a strong pull for me since i pick up my first SRL only 6 years ago but i got a side tracked with a little business. Nonetheless, i still believe in the ‘social change through photography’ concept and hope to manifest that concept through a different form.
