The first, annual World Photography festival opens downtown tonight at Left Space Studios and we’re thrilled to be a part of it! The World Photography Organization and iStockphoto have partnered to launch the festival here in San Francisco as a part of their Global Tour. Local and internationally recognized photographers will join together for the next four days as expert instructors and presenters to partake in the festivities. The festival will include portfolio workshops and reviews, book design workshops and several roundtable discussions, offering students, photographers and creatives an opportunity to participate. In addition, each day there will be a live photo shoot, where festival students and photographers can interact and practice shooting and directing. We’ve stepped in to provide them with fully art-directed sets with models, lighting and props for the festival this weekend. It should be a great time and we are looking forward to it!
