While it’s been a crazy year so far, it gets even crazier every year when San Francisco Beer Week (SFBW) comes around and because Super Bowl 50 is in the Bay Area this year, SFBW had to be moved up and is upon us now!
On Sunday night we were on hand at both Sour Sunday and Pinball and Pints while an Orange Photography alumnus, Natalie Jenks, had a show of her work at The Good Hop in Oakland.
Below are a few more shots from Pinball and Pints which was held at the Pacific Pinball Museum, one of the more unique events during Beer Week and also was a fundraiser to support the programs of the museum, which is a non-profit organization.
The event has grown from eight brewers in 2015, to 14 this year and samples of over 25 different beers were available. Event organizer and Founder of Comrades Brewing, Jason Beck, said, “What’s unique about the events at the Museum is that, since it’s a non-profit, we can pour beer from nano-breweries alongside beer from larger established breweries. We get to feature some unique, unreleased beers along with well-known favorites.”
Under-construction breweries such as Method Brewing, Ferment Drink Repeat, and Laughing Monk Brewing from San Francisco were in attendance, along with nano-brewers Comrades Brewing and Grisette Nouveaux. Established breweries from both sides of the bay were represented with Ale Industries, Faction Brewing, Speakeasy, Cleophus Quealy Beer Company and others pouring beer.
