So I’m going to be doing a night shoot incorporating the moon into a portrait so last night I did a few test shots. The moon is about 85% full right now and it’s really bright up there since we’ve had some nicely clear nights here in San Francisco.
This was one of the quick shots I took which was totally hand held since the moon reflects so much light. I was surprised that I could shoot it with such a fast shutter speed – here’s the specs: Shutter speed: 1/500 sec, Aperture: 5.6, ISO: 400
