Last week I received a call from Florian of Germany. He told me that he was going to be in SF for a week and wanted to do a portrait session. I didn’t quite believe it because there have been plenty of scams going around about foreigners securing services, trying to pay in advance, etc. Anyway, it turns out it was a real inquiry and he walks into my studio with an entourage of 5 German women (all fight attendants) to be in the shoot with him. I came to find out that not only is he an actor but also an opera singer and a flight attendant! I rolled with it and took them to the Marin headlands for a quick tour and a change of scenery.
