Rowena & Scott – Landmarks Tiburon Art and Garden Center Wedding
It was a bit drizzly the afternoon of their wedding, but spirits were high. Rowena was radiant! It was a lovely day with warm people and delicious food.

Nirav was planning a visit to San Francisco and wanted to surprise his lady with a ring. We set the time and location, I got ready with my papparazzi lens and I got some sneaky shots of Nirav proposing. The proposal shoot turned into an engagement shoot when Hinal said YES!

So I couldn’t really decide on a single image so I thought that using two worked because it reflects a lot of the type of work I do as well as my approach.
Just recently I had this exact situation of control vs. spontaneity face me. A commercial shoot for a new startup hired me to shoot a new ad campaign image for them the day before […]
I really enjoyed spending time with these two during their summer engagement session, so was looking forward to their big day in October. Rain was expected but the weatherman was thankfully wrong again. For anyone keeping track this year, that’s Andria-3, weatherman-1. After sharing the slideshow with them, I received an email from Jenn that began “OMG!!!” and continued with equal enthusiasm about the photos, and that just made my day. Thank you to Patty Nason […]

We’ve been following the WHORANGE blog for a while. The folks there do a fantastic job curating all things awesome with regards to “The Color of Craving” – their tag line. The images above are a ripoff of their recent font competition picks from the design*sponge blog (another of our faves). Anyhow, we just sliced off the “WH” but check out the first […]
Well, actually, this applies to all sorts of photography but more so any type of photography that has less controlled situations. With weddings in particular, one of the challenges is that things never go exactly as planned. Even when they do, specific moments can happen in split seconds and unexpected moments pop up all the time. […]
The Mexican Party Bus was the ultimate ride to their ceremony in Golden Gate Park. All the flowers at Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden were in full bloom, and despite a bit of morning rain, the clouds held steady for their outdoor ceremony. We took the bus (blasting M.I.A.!) back to the Mission District where the fun continued at Heart wine bar. I’m thankful I get to photograph such awesome celebrations.
