We were up in wine country last night to capture the awards ceremony for Great West Life at Chateau St. Jean. The big surprise of the evening, which we had to keep mum for the guests, was the band America taking the stage after dinner. I guess they’ve kept touring for decades, about 100 shows a year. Still going strong! They were real sweet at the VIP’s meet and greet.
So we use tape for all sorts of things as I’m sure all photographers do so we decided to create a top ten list so here it goes:
1) Gaffers – the prototypical multi-use tape – too bad it’s not cheaper!

Jack just left on a 545 mile ride to Los Angeles on his first AIDS/LifeCycle. He’ll be peddling hard all week and documenting the experience with the Canon 5D Mark II. Can’t wait to see the journey through his lens. We wish him good luck and good riding!

Check out Cathy and Brian’s beautiful wedding day shot by Vasna. The location was charming and picturesque, at the Trentadue Winery in Sonoma surrounded by sunlight mountains. This wedding had the cutest details, my favorite being the serve yourself candy containers – a favorite for the attending kids and any sweet tooths as well.
