So it was a busy weekend at the Orange studios with the traditionally busy wedding weekend of Labor Day. The weather couldn’t have been better and there was so much going on in the city as well. On Friday Andria Lo had her show opening which most of the Orange team attended at SOMArts Gallery and it was quite a success – congratulations Andria!

So just got word from one of our wedding clients that the photos from their wedding are featured in a listing in Here Comes the Guide for Casa Real where we’ve photographed quite a few weddings and special events. We’re also honored to be in Here Comes the Guide as well since it’s a ‘by recommendation only’ type publication. You can check out our own listing here!
Last night we sponsored the Stars of San Francisco Muscular Dystrophy event up in the Penthouse at the Fairmont, an incredibly beautiful space. It was a perfect evening with the weather cooperating and raised money for the San Francisco MDA.

So we returned from ISES Eventworld empty handed on the awards front, but the event was solid even if Hurricane Fay tried to interrupt. It’s official, we turned seven years old! The awesome folks at Mosio, who just had their first anniversary, celebrated with us. So we got a lil snap happy with over a thousand photos from the evening, but how else would a photography studio commemorate such a year?

So we’ve been incredibly busy so sorry for not updating our photography blog as regularly. Anyhow, over the past three days we had our own birthday party (stay tuned for the photo booth photography!), a couple weddings to shoot and a benefit for GLAAD last night at Orson.

So we’re proud that our very own Andria Lo will be participating in an exhibition at SOMArts later this month!
The exhibit is called filtered – beyond the first layer and the opening is on Friday August 29th from 6-9pm. As the exhibit says: “Andria Lo is a professional photographer whose personal work presents a curious look at the everyday/night by often capturing scene that cannot actually be perceived by looking.”
