So we’re proud that our very own Andria Lo will be participating in an exhibition at SOMArts later this month!
The exhibit is called filtered – beyond the first layer and the opening is on Friday August 29th from 6-9pm. As the exhibit says: “Andria Lo is a professional photographer whose personal work presents a curious look at the everyday/night by often capturing scene that cannot actually be perceived by looking.”

As they said in the Chronicle’s article – it’s like ‘Pimp My Ride’ on a jet. I guess the showers are the signature item and the bathrooms are huge – I was taking a photo sitting on the toilet (it was closed of course) and probably had about six feet between me and the shower door. No worries about your knees bumping against the doors here.

Kirsty was able to steal away the couple on their wedding day for an extended portrait session. I like the fashion shoot feel and can see these printed large for hanging on the wall. I’m sure they’ll treasure these photos for many many years.

Myleen told me that a guest approached Jack at a recent wedding with, “You’re the one that makes the photos look like perfume ads!” I think that is an apt comparison.
