Recently I have been doing some test shoots with local models. I have so much fun with these, scouting around and shooting on-location, and they tend to turn into mini adventures. This Saturday I photographed some lifestyle shots for Kris Nations Jewelry in Golden Gate Park. The Nations sisters are passionate about the craft and I love that most of their materials are recycled metals and vintage glass bits and that everything is made locally in their Oakland studio. They have some beautiful pieces and I’m looking forward to seeing how the photos will be used in their upcoming lookbook and the new site…. stay tuned.

Last night we sponsored the Stars of San Francisco Muscular Dystrophy event up in the Penthouse at the Fairmont, an incredibly beautiful space. It was a perfect evening with the weather cooperating and raised money for the San Francisco MDA.
