During our transition to being a virtual company, I took the opportunity to reexamine my own situation after being in the Bay Area for over 25 years. I had been considering relocating outside the Bay Area for some time but finding a mutually agreeable place with my ex hadn't been easy. Regardless, I decided to take a leap of faith and agreed to letting her move back to Michigan with my daughter for the next year. Since I wasn't quite ready to move to Michigan yet, I thought it would be a good time to become a 'digital nomad' and work on road.
