Orange launches new website and conference highlights!
Having been in business for over two decades, our website has effectively showcased our work. However, it's been more than five years since we last made any significant updates. This past month, we undertook the task of revamping it. Given the evolution within our industry and our company structure, the old website felt dated, reflecting assets from a time when our team was much larger.
Southwest Highlights
The second segment of my epic road trip was in the Southwest and even though it was in the winter months, the weather was great during that time of the year. The great thing about the arid southwest is that things don't look that different compared to the summer. Undoubtedly my two favorite cities during this segment was Sedona and Santa Fe for different reasons. Like Bend OR, Sedona is a bit of any outdoor lover's dream with the vast array of things you can do almost year around. Meanwhile, Santa Fe had the hippie eclectic charm and spiritual energy that made me feel right at home. No doubt, I will spend more time in this part of the west in the future.
Coursera’s IPO Launch
It was an early morning as we were in Mountain View, CA for the opening bell at 6:30AM PST. But the day started even earlier as staff members were in the building even hours before and there was plenty of buzz to go around. Produced by Ethos Event Collective, Coursera's normal office space was transformed and set up perfectly for a live recording.

We had a sort of reunion with so many Orange Photography alumni at Stripe Sessions this week! Our own team of six covered the conference alongside many friends and former team members. About 90 mins outside of Las Vega`s is a little disperse camping spot know as steward`s point. I made it my base station (Jan 2025!) as I couldn`t get a campsite in Valley of the Fire State Park. Well, it turn out mighty fine location for my drone shots. Since I got in the late evening, I didn`t get the chance to scout for a more scenic campsite but I am not complaining!

It`s been about 5 days ago since I returned from my two month tour of the american southwest. The usual routine of doing alot of `productive` things have taken over and in the evenings, I take a break from being productive to look over the photos from the trip. I haven`t had much contemplation time these days but the trip did provide enough unproductive time to narrow the focus of life moving forward. photography will become a hobby again next year was one resolve to create more room for big picture stitching. Meanwhile, my first stop on this trip was Moab, the adventure capital city. I attempted a trial run in the backcountry of moab and failed to my delight. when everything is empty there is nothing to achieve.

So i got a bit lucky with the sunset at long dong silver spire in Hanksville, UT. Not too far off the highway and pretty close to Capitol Reef National park as well if you`re in the area. I almost missed the landmark because I stopped at the first spire i saw and it turn out that it was just a teaser spire. Nothing like a little whiskey to add to the confusion.

Earlier this year, I did an overnight at Canyon de Chelly National Monument in Aroniza. Being the winter months, the limited hiking trails were closed so I can only soak glory of this mystic valley from the top. The fact that there were still native americans living in the valley is `good`? Purification should transcend time and space.

Last January, I kicked off my annual pilgrimage to Vegas with a pit stop in Taos, NM. Warmer than Denver? Yes! Short weather? Not quite. I found myself more café-bound than outdoor adventurer. Everyone raves about Taos, but let’s be real: winter put a bit of a damper on my enthusiasm.
